　　這首歌是1993年電影《綠野仙蹤》的主題曲，最近很喜歡聽這首歌，尤其到副歌的地方，很容易就會跟另一首"Somewhere out there"搞混，其實兩首是完全不同的歌曲。後面這首曾由迪士尼系列裡的那兩隻可愛小松鼠合唱過，也是我最喜歡的版本。

　　至於"Over the Rainbow"(或稱Somewhere Over the Rainbow)這首歌，在電影之後，被翻唱過無數次。從Judy Garland,Tori Amos, Aretha Franklin,Dean Martin,Norah Jones...Jams Armstrong等等，版本有好多好多，台灣也有不少人翻唱過，其中Judy Garland的原始版和Tori Amos是我很喜歡的版本。

　　歌詞描繪青春期前女童想要脫離這無藥可救的世界，想著彩虹之上有個藍天、青鳥的世界。整首歌曲其實是有種不滿足、哀怨和渴望的感覺，Tori Amos那種帶點啜泣的演唱方式，特別能將那種哀怨的感覺詮釋出來。有很多的翻唱版本會將這首歌唱得很輕快或很華麗，感覺反而讓這首歌曲失去它原有的味道。
